TeleMedCare’s sophisticated Data Services capabilities represent a unique feature of its solutions, incorporating Decision Support capabilities to assist the health carer’s review of remotely acquired monitoring data. Telehealth technologies are capable of delivering unprecedented volumes of data to the clinician and there is real potential for data overload – TeleMedCare’s flexible Data Services help alleviate this problem.

Optional Decision Support facilities may be used to assist health care professionals to review the clinical information from a group of patients. The overall aim of the Decision Support capabilities is to improve the efficiency of the clinical review process by prioritising the display of patient monitoring data in line with parameters set by the clinical team. The clinical team is able to prioritise patient data by setting thresholds for individual measurements and by setting trend criteria that would demand attention.

Clinical teams can set up authority hierarchies to ensure that each member of the team is properly associated with the patient cohort for which they are responsible. Authorised clinicians are able to view full longitudinal data for each patient for which they are responsible, including the results of health questionnaires.

In addition authorised clinicians can view summary data for their whole patient group, in a series of flexible reporting formats.

TeleMedCare adheres to the highest standards for maintenance of its data bases, to ensure that the security of sensitive patient information is maintained in accordance with accepted international standards.
